He sits upon the bench of tears
If only for a thousand years
Beside him, another man, perched like stone
Presence, soon to be unknown

He's told, no more than half a week
He bobs his head as things look bleak
His heart still wrenches into shock
As time approaches on the clock

The man's baggage clutched the child can sense
When the man's abduction will commence
This evil machine, they all attend
Will soon consume his only friend

Beside the tracks, a warm embrace
A wall of remorse left on his face
The passengers board, to his dismay
As he lets his father slip away.
